Our company is looking for a Project Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts site surveys and threat assessments and generates associated reports, drawings, schedules and cost estimates;
  • Monitors and manages specific project budgets;
  • Serves as liaison between on-site personnel and engineering department for technical support and Engineering Change Proposals;
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision;
  • Scaffolds, access equipment, ladders;
  • Hoisting equipment, cranes, rigging;
  • Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place and kept current for the term of the project. Act as liaison to inspection agencies;
  • Primary liaison with owners/architects/engineers for the day-to-day construction activities of the project;
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times;
  • Manage labor relations with subcontractors and Turner trade staff;
  • Maintain daily log of build-out progress;
  • Supervise punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner allowing;
  • Participates in the development and final review of scope, buy-out and schedule;
  • Manage owner, landlord, city/state procedural requirements to avoid project delays and ensure project safety and client satisfaction;
  • Exceeds client expectations for each project by understanding client needs, wants, preferences and culture.

Requirements:

  • Organized, thorough work ethic;
  • 8-10 or more years of superintendent experience in ground up, renovation, and interior construction on union, non-union, and open shop projects;
  • Delegate work appropriately;
  • Experience in all facets of OSHA compliance;
  • Extensive background and knowledge of safety procedures and federal and state regulations;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities;
  • Experienced at managing projects utilizing Project Management Software;
  • Procore;
  • A positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional results on-time for our clients.
