Project Superintendent Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Superintendent to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts site surveys and threat assessments and generates associated reports, drawings, schedules and cost estimates;
- Monitors and manages specific project budgets;
- Serves as liaison between on-site personnel and engineering department for technical support and Engineering Change Proposals;
- Other duties as assigned by supervision;
- Scaffolds, access equipment, ladders;
- Hoisting equipment, cranes, rigging;
- Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place and kept current for the term of the project. Act as liaison to inspection agencies;
- Primary liaison with owners/architects/engineers for the day-to-day construction activities of the project;
- Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times;
- Manage labor relations with subcontractors and Turner trade staff;
- Maintain daily log of build-out progress;
- Supervise punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner allowing;
- Participates in the development and final review of scope, buy-out and schedule;
- Manage owner, landlord, city/state procedural requirements to avoid project delays and ensure project safety and client satisfaction;
- Exceeds client expectations for each project by understanding client needs, wants, preferences and culture.
Requirements:

- Organized, thorough work ethic;
- 8-10 or more years of superintendent experience in ground up, renovation, and interior construction on union, non-union, and open shop projects;
- Delegate work appropriately;
- Experience in all facets of OSHA compliance;
- Extensive background and knowledge of safety procedures and federal and state regulations;
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities;
- Experienced at managing projects utilizing Project Management Software;
- Procore;
- A positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional results on-time for our clients.
