Our company is looking for a Field Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Material Logistics, Staging and movement, jobsite inventory management, and equipment/tool needs;
  • Manage work scope and budgets. Piece Rate and hourly reporting. Track rework;
  • Jobsite safety;
  • Workforce Development. Lead by example—RTMC code of conduct and Core Values. Represent RT Moore professionally;
  • Perform daily verification of install per design with inspections per RTMC Quality Standards, create punch lists;
  • Identifies and leads change to continually improve processes and procedures while managing business stability;
  • Listens to the insights of those close to the front line;
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of the project;
  • Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with required safety standards;
  • Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in a friendly and efficient manner;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination;
  • Ensures planning and carrying out of activities that will maintain a safe project site;
  • Enforces strict compliance of all safety requirements and ensures appropriate level of rewards or reprimands;
  • Identify necessary change orders;
  • Review architectural drawings to determine appropriate actions needed by trades.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on smartphones and tablets;
  • Detailed knowledge of construction materials and equipment;
  • Specialist in all facets of multi-ton loading and unloading;
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external teams;
  • Great motivator;
  • Highly organized, excellent time management;
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Field Superintendent or similar;
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred;
  • Ability to use construction industry software; HCSS, Excel, Word, etc;
  • Ability to travel extensively to projects across the U.S;
  • 10 years underground utilities and/or civil construction leadership experience is required; large diameter, deep underground pipe experience preferred;
  • Proven organizational and planning capabilities;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Read and correctly interpret various Construction Documents (Drawings, Specifications, Contracts, etc.);
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience.
