Regional Sales Manager – Remote Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Remote to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Completes weekly agency visit reports;
- Trains agents on use of on-line quoting and account management systems;
- Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the assigned territory;
- Performs on specific monthly , quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives;
- Works closely with underwriting to monitor and follow-up on new business submissions and quoted accounts;
- Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent insurance agencies and broker’s throughout the assigned territory;
- Exhibits knowledge of competitor products and capabilities along with general market trends;
- Actively participates in weekly sales calls, quarterly and annual sales team meetings;
- Trains agents on our products and underwriting appetite;
- Maintains an understanding of all AmTrust products, services and solutions and initiates discussions with other business units as appropriate;
- Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software;
- Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving issues within scope of responsibility;
- Knowledge of the commercial P&C insurance industry, its products and services;
- Knowledge of selling insurance products through intermediaries and distributors;
- Advanced communication skills;
- Demonstrated professional integrity;
- Independent self-starter and ability to work remotely.
