Our company is looking for a Lead Sales Coordinator to join our team.


  • No formal responsibility for supervising others;
  • Order all required parts for all accepted proposals;
  • Construct and communicate detailed service proposals to customers which include price and scope of work to be performed;
  • Promote and recommend services and parts the company can provide to generate additional sales;
  • Proactively contact customers in service territory to schedule Caterpillar product updates as required for generator sets and industrial engines;
  • Resolve any customer complaints, service problems, and invoice problems to ensure customer requirements are met;
  • Follow up on leads for potential sales of service to generate revenue and achieve sales goals;
  • Work with appropriate departments to generate service proposals.


  • Prior experience in a sales or customer service position;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, forkllift, etc.);
  • High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED);
  • Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone;
  • Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints;
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
  • Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and self-motivated;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Course of study in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or similar a plus;
  • Self-motivated with 1-2 years of related work experience;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytic capabilities and interest in advertising, marketing and sales;
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
