Lead Sales Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Sales Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- No formal responsibility for supervising others;
- Order all required parts for all accepted proposals;
- Construct and communicate detailed service proposals to customers which include price and scope of work to be performed;
- Promote and recommend services and parts the company can provide to generate additional sales;
- Proactively contact customers in service territory to schedule Caterpillar product updates as required for generator sets and industrial engines;
- Resolve any customer complaints, service problems, and invoice problems to ensure customer requirements are met;
- Follow up on leads for potential sales of service to generate revenue and achieve sales goals;
- Work with appropriate departments to generate service proposals.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a sales or customer service position;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, forkllift, etc.);
- High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED);
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone;
- Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints;
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
- Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and self-motivated;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Course of study in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or similar a plus;
- Self-motivated with 1-2 years of related work experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Strong analytic capabilities and interest in advertising, marketing and sales;
- Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
