Senior Digital Strategist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Digital Strategist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular technical SEO site audits. Report and present results;
- Train content authors on SEO best practices and build a repository of SEO training materials;
- Perform audits of content, backlinks, and other key SEO factors;
- Provide insight and recommendations on off-page optimization as needed;
- Help define content strategy by partnering with content authors to ensure SEO guidelines are incorporated into the content production process;
- Manage web SEO performance across multiple regions, business units, verticals, and products;
- Engage with different parts of the FoundSM team to lead SEO engagements;
- Provide SEO expertise and recommendations on an ad hoc basis, as issues arise;
- Lead client communication on SEO and UX projects and present findings;
- Work with a variety of digital and social vendors to help execute campaigns;
- Work across MELT teams to execute social initiatives that are fresh, effective and measurable to client KPIs;
- Brief MELT creative and production teams on design and concepts for all interactive programs;
- Manage content calendars and daily community management for MELT social media clients;
- Play a key role in content planning, management, creation and tracking;
- Provide insights on emerging trends and products.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with multiple projects and multiple deadlines;
- Knowledge of baseline programming languages (Python, R) to gather and evaluate data;
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills;
- Comfort with setting up, performing and evaluating output from primary, secondary, and behavioral research methods;
- Strong communication skills and general business acumen;
- MUST have experience in paid social media planning and management;
- Masters in an analytics related degree preferred;
- Ability to execute large digital and social media campaigns from concept to execution;
- Passion for data and finding unique truths hidden in the sea of numbers;
- Proven ability to plan, organize and implement multiple tasks/projects on a concurrent, real-time basis;
- Highly resourceful to find the lead insights from diverse and robust data sources including search, social, web data;
- Experience using cross digital analytics platforms including web (Google/Adobe Analytics), social conversation, search (e.g., Moz, SEMRush);
- Working knowledge of SQL and data management;
- You know how to analyze website and app performance via Google Analytics, and how to turn those insights into actionable recommendations;
- 6 to 8 years of relevant digital / social media experience. (Agency experience strongly preferred.).
