Service Account Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical scope of work proposals and presentations to consulting engineers which communicate our value proposition;
- Working with estimating department, estimate material, labor and subcontractor costs for control system applications per plans/specifications;
- Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets;
- Assist consulting engineers with the design and specifications of control system applications;
- Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities in CRM;
- Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users;
- Team sell with other sales executives;
- Partner with cross-functional teams in co-creating and improving campaign execution processes as Blavity Inc. continues to grow;
- Developing, writing and delivering value-based sales proposals to prospective decision makers;
- Lead day-to-day client communications and escalations, striking a balance between the needs of your portfolio and those of our internal protocols;
- Leveraging analytics and business tools to increase your success while providing Setpoint Systems with accurate visibility into your activities;
- Manage the creation of high-impact client reports, in partnership with the Associate Director, Creative Services, Insights, and Sales;
- Developing new end-user customers within assigned territory, leveraging Setpoint Systems marketing activities as well as your own prospecting efforts;
- Maintaining relationships with existing end-user customers assigned within assigned geographical territory;
- Developing trust in our industry, creating a partner community.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in account management, market research; pharmaceutical marketing; or pharmaceutical sales or brand management;
- Strong expertise with medical and disease terminology;
- Highly motivated and goal driven;
- Strong desire to grow and learn new concepts and strategies;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- MS Office with high degree of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
- Ability and desire to advance within the company;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Update customer database on sales activity on a daily basis;
- Promote SVM and act as the conduit to all other disciplines within the company;
- Issues proposals on an as needed basis for recommended service opportunities;
- Maintains a competitive advantage by learning about competitors’ activities and sharing with sales team;
- Responsible for updating the sales manager on new sales activity, sales forecasting, existing customer base;
- Identify and qualify opportunities for new system installations;
- Responsible for following up with customers on submitted proposals weekly.
