Our company is looking for a Social Media Strategist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Our paid ad campaigns on our social channels quarterly and yearly;
  • Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content;
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches;
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices;
  • Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions);
  • Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization;
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and engaging;
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI;
  • Design social media strategies, both paid and organic, to achieve marketing targets;
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network;
  • Working with a team of writers, video editors, and designers to produce creative for organic and paid campaigns;
  • Training staff on brand voice and best practices, to level up our entire team’s social media skillset;
  • Executing A/B testing plans to optimize campaigns and inspire more people to deepen their engagement with the movement;
  • Creating and maintaining social media marketing plan and strategy for an apparel brand + other lifestyle clients;
  • Coming up with creative strategies for growing and maintaining our audience of over 1 million social media followers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a service industry as a Social Media Strategist;
  • Be able to effectively manage resources such as projects, budgets, and leadership expectations;
  • Excellent vendor-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Proficient in G Suite and Microsoft Office;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • Have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking;
  • Feed off and into a passionate creative team with a high energy level and have an “above and beyond” mentality to get the job done;
  • Excellent multitasking skills;
  • Understanding of web traffic metrics;
  • Experience in photography or videography desirable;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills; spelling and grammar snobs are encouraged to apply;
  • 3-5 years experience leading social media strategies for a nonprofit, business, political candidate, or similar;
  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools or video editing highly desirable;
  • Technical skills, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, etc. (preferred);
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
