Solution Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Solution Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be a self-starter needing minimal supervision on medium to large scale projects;
- Contribute to the creation of standardized processes and best practices;
- Collaborate with developers, leadership and other architects to bring strategic technical vision into reality;
- Facilitate/oversees the analysis and design of technology solutions to ensure business needs are met;
- Work as part of cross-functional Agile and SDLC project teams;
- Influence project scope to deliver effective and efficient solutions in a timely manner;
- Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external) and the software development team through which requirements flow;
- Effectively lead the elicitation and documentation of system requirements and solutions into work products;
- Analyze and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standard;
- Coordinate with IT development teams to manage the development process and resolve issues;
- Implement proposed solutions using your development experience and integrations knowledge;
- Oversee technical scoping and design through the entire project life-cycle from pre-sales through implementation and go-live;
- Participate in research/design of new systems.
Requirements:
- JAVA programming experience a must;
- Advanced understanding of system architecture and knowledge of software development concepts;
- BS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience;
- Advanced knowledge of modeling techniques (e.g., UML) and use case development as well as experience with one or more software development frameworks;
- Understanding and application of Agile concepts such as Scrum/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies;
- Ability to prioritize, escalate and lead efforts on complex customer requests;
- Experience working with agile teams on complex projects;
- Possess a deep understanding of the business processes behind the applications;
- Deep understanding of business and technology processes as well as software integration and implementation;
- Strong oral and written communication skills; including process documentation;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills;
- 10+ years of relevant work experience to include business/system requirements and technical analysis.
