Senior Solutions Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Solutions Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure healthy and productive solution development cycle through engagement with customers, field and professional services consultants;
- Define and drive use case in virtualization infrastructure solutions for software-defined data centers, edge clouds, and MEC platforms;
- Solution Development Work with prospects to identify requirements and build compelling solution to address those requirements;
- Significant technical breadth across LAN/WAN and IT towers with depth of competency in network services and solutions;
- Solution Selling, including identifying value proposition to the client and technical merits of proposed solution;
- Measure success and impact of MuleSoft Accelerators for Salesforce Clouds and identify future expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of SDN/NFV concept, mechanism, and standards such as ETSI, IETF, MEF, TMForum;
- Good knowledge of 5G, 4G, RAN, physical networks is required and Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) would be desirable;
- Proven track record of developing & delivering formal and informal technical material aimed at educating customers, partners or sales teams;
- Domain expertise on VMware technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, K8S, and VIO;
- Domain expertise in mobile and fixed networks, service, topologies and architectures is required;
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, influence and work across organizational boundaries and broad range of peers and executives;
- Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts;
- 10+ years of experience designing / implementing solutions in the large data center and/or mobile operator core network environment;
- Understanding of networking stack and routing/switching is preferred, including TCP/IP, MPLS, L2, L3, SD-WAN, VXLAN, etc;
- Solution Selling, including identifying value proposition to the client and technical merits of proposed solution;
- An understanding of APIs and integration technologies and their relevance in enterprise integration;
- Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
- Solution Development Work with prospects to identify requirements and build compelling solution to address those requirements;
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap;
- Undergraduate degree is required; MBA preferred.
