Responsibilities:

  • Assess organizational performance systemically, defining talent gaps and proposing HR solutions that support clients’ business objectives;
  • Lead partner with recruitment, with a strong focus on acquiring and retaining top talent and on building pipeline for future needs;
  • Coaches business leaders on key organizational and management issues;
  • Uses understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate talent movement into and throughout the organization;

Requirements:

  • Possesses both critical thinking capability and hands-on HR business plan implementation experience;
  • Proactive and independent work style, able to leverage relationships to deliver work with minimal supervision;
  • Relevant industry experience in the media space (preferably within a cutting edge, highly innovative environment);
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – effectively managing issues that do not always have a process or a system in place;
  • Certifications : HR Certification PHR or SHRM-CP preferred (or willing to become certified);
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior executives;
  • Specific experience in strategy development, organizational design, talent management and change management;
  • Relevant industry experience in the media space (preferably within a cutting edge, fast-paced, highly innovative environment);
  • Experience managing and developing team members;
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to balance business partnering skills with employee advocacy;
  • Global experience;
  • Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision;
  • Experience working within a unionized environment;
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and highly collaborative environment;
