Our company is looking for a Unit Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Are responsible for the general safety and well-being of campers with a focus on our intentional camp outcomes;
  • Provide daily and nightly support and care to cabin staff and campers within your unit;
  • Known and be well rehearsed in camp emergency procedure and take on situational leadership as assigned and directed;
  • Have been known to dress up like mythical characters, dance until the sun comes up, and sing the greatest hits, a regular jack of all trades;
  • Assist in providing constructive feedback and evaluation of volunteer and seasonal cabin staff;
  • Participate in staff development and training, pre-session planning, post-session debriefing, and staff meetings;
  • Assist program team in executing evening program activities;
  • Living at camp from June 1 to August 9 (approximately 11 weeks, time off between camp sessions).

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree required;
  • Five years of experience which includes three years of clinical nursing and 2 years of nursing leadership;
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
  • Either Bachelor’s or Master’s degree must be in Nursing;
  • BLS required;
  • Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
