Area Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Area Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Build healthy mission community among staff, leaders and committee while providing vision and direction;
- Recruit and train staff and leaders to build leadership teams that reflect the community;
- Develop and lead the area’s fundraising strategy and ensure excellence in communication to donors;
- Manage finances with stewardship, accountability and transparency using the missionwide applications;
- Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders;
- Lead or co-lead a model Young Life club;
- Observe and evaluate each of the schools/ministries in the local area annually;
- Lead an effective Campaigners ministry with excellence;
- Organized and efficient communication with donors, committee, parents and leaders;
- Demonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and area level;
- Good working relationship with the committee;
- Spiritual leadership, supervision, training and recruitment of leaders;
- Must raise $20,000 in personal support;
- Participation in annual staff events and training events;
- Growing relationships with area churches and other ministries.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of five years of relevant experience;

- Experience with capex and real estate planning for new unit growth and exist unit remodeling;
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop leaders within operations;
- Heart for kids of all backgrounds, races, cultures and circumstances;
