Our company is looking for a Area Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build healthy mission community among staff, leaders and committee while providing vision and direction;
  • Recruit and train staff and leaders to build leadership teams that reflect the community;
  • Develop and lead the area’s fundraising strategy and ensure excellence in communication to donors;
  • Manage finances with stewardship, accountability and transparency using the missionwide applications;
  • Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders;
  • Lead or co-lead a model Young Life club;
  • Observe and evaluate each of the schools/ministries in the local area annually;
  • Lead an effective Campaigners ministry with excellence;
  • Organized and efficient communication with donors, committee, parents and leaders;
  • Demonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and area level;
  • Good working relationship with the committee;
  • Spiritual leadership, supervision, training and recruitment of leaders;
  • Must raise $20,000 in personal support;
  • Participation in annual staff events and training events;
  • Growing relationships with area churches and other ministries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of five years of relevant experience;
  • Possess a results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently, make quick decisions and prioritize appropriately;

  • Experience with capex and real estate planning for new unit growth and exist unit remodeling;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop leaders within operations;
  • Heart for kids of all backgrounds, races, cultures and circumstances;
