Our company is looking for a VP of Operations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning the work;
  • Providing for safety and security of the workplace;
  • Interviewing, selecting, and training employees;
  • Inspect work flow throughout the terminal;
  • Analyze data, create, prepare and distribute various reports and information;
  • Manage P&L, identify, develop and implement corrective measures to meet and exceed targeted goals;
  • Successfully manage customer and client relationships at all levels resolving customer issues and service opportunities effectively;
  • Responsible for fostering a positive culture;
  • Analyze and identify market trends to determine potential economic impact on portfolios;
  • Operational focus on revenue per truck and total miles, reducing empty miles, and working tractor plan;
  • Take the lead in defining Bungalow’s property operations strategy, processes, and structure to achieve company targets;
  • Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the client organization;
  • Ensures that Operations Team members are performing their responsibilities effectively;
  • Rigorously measure operational metrics and KPIs, and make data driven decisions;
  • Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;
  • Experience in managing a total managed volume of $25M or higher;
  • Must be able to make business decisions based on financial reports and similar facts;
  • Must be able to analyze and interpret policies established by administrators;
  • Must reside within the city of Evanston;
  • Highly creative and strategic: track record of creating innovative and sound strategy for growth;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, strong attention to detail;
