Our company is looking for a Database Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data into information systems;
- Perform data reviews, providing feedback in a timely manner;
- Ability to evaluate large data sets for data quality issues and assist in resolution;
- Work closely with applications, data, and BI teams to develop end to end solutions. Skills And Abilities;
- Conversion of data into Access and SQL Server databases;
- Import data into proprietary information systems using MS Excel and other data transformation tools;
- Adhere to change control and testing processes for modifications to data systems;
- Solid Experience working as a database analyst, BI analyst, developer, or related role;
- Analysis of data according to complex rule sets;
- Timely delivery of highly accurate result sets;
- Procurement of publicly available databases;
- Develop and implement a set of quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of data transmissions;
- Interact with attorneys, paralegals, claims administrators, and other parties to receive updates and verify data;
- Receive data in various formats from law firms, claims administrators, other vendors and government agencies;
- Ability to lead the development of Enterprise Data Systems and Enterprise Data Models.
Requirements:
- Execute complex ad hoc data analysis and advanced analytical projects for clients;
- Identify and create processes and tools to standardize data analysis;
- Handling large volumes of data in a variety of formats for preparation of data insights;
- Transforms data into meaningful analysis;
- Strong analytical skills. Must be able to gather, analyze, summarize and present data clearly and concisely;
- Comfortable learning new data analysis techniques independently and continuously;
- Comfortable working with large sets of data in spreadsheets and other systems (large sets of data such as 4,000 rows/columns);
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Conduct research into database issues, standards, and products;
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
- Strong MS Excel skills, SQL, including macro use and development;
- Strong desire to learn from and contribute to a larger team;
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components;
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic business environment;
- Bachelor s degree in information technology or related field.
