Our company is looking for a IT Procurement Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review procurement items for categorization, coding, pricing and information accuracy in items database and request catalog;
  • Manage daily IT hardware/software request and issue Purchase Orders as needed;
  • Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively, while staying extremely organized;
  • Follow each order to ensure all items are received;
  • Evaluate sourcing requests and ensure completeness;
  • Obtain quotes, compare and negotiate pricing;
  • Work within multiple email aliases in a high volume of communications and ticketing systems workflow;
  • Inform stakeholders of PO issuance and any other details regarding orders;
  • Build new relationships with key Technology vendors and follows required sourcing policies and procedures;
  • Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs;
  • Mediate supplier issues and resolve disputes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing work load to meet scheduling demands and timelines;
  • 3+ years experience in the Procurement;
  • Experience using MS SQL a plus;
  • Experience in technology purchasing preferred;
  • Experience with vendor management;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with customer focus;
  • Understanding of processes and stakeholders within an IT Organization;
  • Experience with time and materials / recurring invoicing;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills: be able to understand and communicate complex topics with simplicity;
  • Ability to identify, analyze and recommend alternative solutions to successfully meet business priorities or streamline processes;
  • Strong attention to detail.
