Our company is looking for a PMO Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report and manage overall project release status back to the project sponsor and stakeholders;
  • Proactively eliminate critical path roadblocks to help ensure successful delivery of the solution;
  • Ensure project members effectively manage dependencies, budgets, and schedule Ensure the project stakeholders expectations are understood and managed;
  • End-to-End Phase Project Management;
  • Proactively manage and monitor execution of deliverables and status in an effective manner;
  • Ensure resolution of cross segment team project issues, risks, and or conflicts;
  • Assist with setup and rollout of PMO capabilities prioritized by leadership, based on industry standard best practices;
  • Maintaining governance standards and reporting inconsistencies to PMO Manager for resolution;
  • Research into and contribute towards new PMO capabilities;
  • Partners with managers to identify metrics that can be used to benchmark, analyze, and report;
  • Gathers and analyzes data necessary to support planning;
  • Tracking status of project deliverables and milestones based on information collected from project managers;
  • Enable site content management, and maintain user configuration/access permissions on the PMO collaboration site;
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve data strategy and data usage;
  • Coordination of project level risk, issue, action items, and decisions (RAID); regular follow-up on open items.

Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly learn custom software programs and database structures is required;
  • Previous client facing experience;
  • Intermediate-level knowledge and experience with Microsoft products- Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word is required;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required;
  • Must be skilled at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness;
  • Must be able to work under deadlines;
  • A strong customer-centric approach is required;
  • Associates degree;
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations with clients, vendors and coworkers;
  • Good organizational skills and keen attention to detail is required;
  • Minimum of 1 year of project management experience to include: analyzing proposals, managing work-flow, partnering across teams, etc;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Must be amenable to working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, are required.
