Our company is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating or updating acquisition and assistance templates;
  • Assist in preparing policy and guidance such as information alerts, acquisition operating instructions and administrative policies and instructions;
  • Prepare, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to duties;
  • Assist in researching acquisition and/or assistance issues;
  • Monitor the onboarding process of new contractors and employees;
  • Assist with issuance and analysis of annual customer service surveys and awards;
  • Expert level Excel is required;
  • Maintains and contributes to weekly and monthly reporting;
  • Supports team in identifying ways to reduce costs through competitive sourcing initiatives;
  • Creates complex spreadsheets, documents, reports and presentations using e-procurement tools;
  • Manage the end to end procure to pay process including reviewing and approving PO’s that are aligned with fully executed Agreements;
  • Supports and enforces Procurement policies to ensure compliance;
  • Procure goodsand administer purchase orders of moderate dollar value, risk, and complexity;
  • Recommends suppliers based on gathered information andmay also recommend improvements to procurement processes and procedures;
  • The Analyst will assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills;
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience strongly preferred;
  • Software knowledge: Microsoft Office suite (advanced skill-set). Experience with ePac, Microsoft Dynamics GP and SAP is preferred;
  • Strong project management disciple, and experience managing complex projects from ideation through to execution is required;
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and workflows;
  • Ability to continuously improve in a team environment, working with Accounting and other departments involved in the Purchase to Pay process;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years related experience required;
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills required for proper analysis of bids, inclusive of differential pricing analysis and total cost of ownership;
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Preferred;
  • Ability to work on multiple project simultaneously, and to accommodate changing priorities and situations;
  • Experience with vendor sourcing – Preferred;
  • 2-4 years’ experience within a procurement organization;
  • Experience providing procurement support to NASA;
  • Knowledge of techniques and processes involved in strategic sourcing.
