Our company is looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis of problems and recommendations on improvement related to all pre- and post-award processes, policies, procedures;
  • Reviews proposals, conducts analyses, selects suppliers, and issues Purchase Orders;
  • Leverages strategic partnerships and optimizes existing agreements to mitigate risk and contain cost;
  • Supports corporate RFx, as needed, to assist in driving cost containment and affecting process streamlining initiatives;
  • Maintains corporate supplier scorecard data for respective commodity;
  • Develop and deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytical projects in collaboration with stakeholders and other key contributors;
  • Serves as escalation point for functional buyers and commodity specialists to resolve issues with suppliers;
  • Aligns supplier performance and behavior with overall business group and corporate strategies;
  • An understanding of validation processes;
  • Support project management efforts around procurement initiative communications and change management plans;
  • Identifies and drives continuous improvement opportunities within department and with suppliers through use of Lean Six Sigma tools;
  • Provide insightful, timely, and accurate procurement category analysis to support both enterprise and category procurement strategies;
  • Serves as a change agent, a role model for continuous improvement and promotes use of Lean Six Sigma tools and thinking;
  • Design and create training materials (e.g., job aids, training, etc.) for internal users of procurement models and reports;
  • Experience with Sourcing from multiple global regions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and as part of a team;
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 24 hours of coursework in business or a related field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Eligible for NACLC/Tier 3 Secret Investigation for a Secret clearance;
  • CPM and/or CPIM desired;
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience;
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and/or vendor management analyses and processes a plus;
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance;
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions;
  • May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements;
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
  • 5 years in Supply Chain (buyer, planner, logistics) is required;
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required;
  • Advanced Excel User;
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
