Senior Intelligence Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and complete files, manage multiple priorities, and follow oral and written instructions;
- Ability to effectively collect, analyze, summarize, interpret, and communicate information and technical data orally and in writing;
- Compile reports and undertake projects relating to criminal, terrorism, homeland security, cyber, or critical infrastructure issues as needed;
- 6 years experience in intelligence and threat analysis;
- Demonstrated ability to work semi-independently, establish priorities, and achieve high level results with limited direct supervision;
- Analyze multi-faceted data in order to show methods, trends, and patterns relating to the Northern Virginia region;
- Knowledge of research and analysis techniques;
- Demonstrated ability to create and provide intelligence briefings for all levels of personnel;
- Public safety experience or other broad scope governmental experience desired;
- Proficient knowledge in open source research and analytical tools;
- Provides intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer’s requirements;
- Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support;
- Analyze data as a result of social media and open source searches;
- Equivalent Experience Education,Bachelors Degree;
- Presents briefings to key personnel and external agencies and partners as designated by the customer.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field;
- 10+ years experience in intelligence analysis;
- Ability to obtain high-level clearance and DHS suitability clearance;
- Previous experience with CBRN/WMD-related intelligence preferred;
- Ability to provide graphics support. General knowledge of the Intelligence Community;
- 11-20 Years of related experience;
- Ability to develop of target folders;
- Ability to sort and maintain hardcopy film;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint);
- Ability to perform administrative tasks, data searches, data input, and retrieval.
