Senior Researcher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Researcher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with clients to identify program goals, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Analyzing and interpreting results from descriptive and inferential quantitative analyses;
- Facilitating workshops and conducting interviews to develop logic models, measures, and strategies for evaluating program outcomes;
- Managing the successful execution of PPE projects, including technical quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience with diverse machine learning and statistical approaches;
- Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated end-to-end project leadership;
- Publications in major ML conferences or in other scientific venues;
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (M.S. will be considered with compelling industry or academic experience);
- Demonstration of strong verbal and written communications skills, including proposal writing;
- PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field;
- Complementary expertise to the rest of the team;
- The ability to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment;
- Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information;
- A research program demonstrated by journal and conference publications;
- Significant participation and activity in the scientific community on program committees, editorial boards, inclusion events, etc;
- Graduate degree in organizational sciences, social sciences, public policy, business, or related field;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships;
- Willingness and ability to learn new research topic areas, methods, and analytic approaches.
