Our company is looking for a Senior Vendor Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a key partner of the team that manages Technology services throughout the full supplier lifecycle of engagements;
  • Continually challenge vendors to achieve exceptional levels of performance;
  • Develop a vendor rationalization plan and strategy to optimize all vendors, which may include quality, capacity, systems, and responsiveness;
  • Manage and monitor performance and develop analytical and financial reporting of vendors including routine scorecards of agreed upon KPI’s;
  • Liaison for the organization in coordinating vendors;
  • Manage current vendors capabilities, business requirements, overall performance and continually identify cost and services improvement opportunities;
  • Work with internal stakeholders and outsourcing partners to identify bottlenecks and drive solutions;
  • Create cohesive contracting documents from ambiguous and incomplete requirements influenced by varied opinions and data;
  • Establish process improvements for vendor and Inovalon interactions;
  • Manage the identification and analysis of insights that define the impact of the work and effectiveness of the vendor relationships;
  • All candidates to comply with all security policies/procedures;
  • Create, maintain, and develop relationships within the vendor community;
  • Ability to interface with Corporate Engineering Google Customers, understand their technical requirements, and work with them for future projects;
  • Evaluate and develop procedures and facilitate the timely resolution of issues arising with a vendor or within Inovalon.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service, and written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work across geographies and different regulatory environments;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment and drive efforts and projects through relationships;
  • Ability to take initiative, work well as part of a team, and drive results;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent practical experience;
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and or relevant experience required;
  • Experience leading the management of vendor management initiatives;
  • Some travel required – must have reliable transportation and ability to conduct audits;
  • Experience in technology enterprise contracting;
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and suppliers to negotiate and administer various types of contracts;
  • Master’s degree in relevant field highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated experience managing large scale, enterprise supplier relationships from a contracting, sourcing and ongoing risk management perspective;
  • Working knowledge in applicable IT/Accounting concepts, practices, and procedures;
  • 7 -10 years of comparable work experience in operations to include vendor management / outsourcing / procurement and contract negotiations.
