Our company is looking for a Vendor Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors;
  • Act as a functional bridge for external vendors and internal stakeholders;
  • Troubleshoot vendor problems and present to management as required;
  • Ensure vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations;
  • Negotiate, manage and monitor contractual agreements;
  • Support expansion across new business lines;
  • Manage external vendor relations;
  • Track, measure, evaluate, and report vendor performance;
  • Coordinate processes and methods to approve vendors;
  • Identify improvement areas internally and work with internal stakeholders to prepare solutions;
  • Coordinate vendor management tasks.

Requirements:

  • MINIMUM 5 years of experience in vendor management;
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screening;
  • Accounting background;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Intermediate or above SQL skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with different types of vendors;
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Proven success in budget control, performance analysis and contract management;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field;
  • Able to identify, analyze and resolve problems;
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills (with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills) and use of data to make decisions and to influence others;
  • Willing and eager to roll up your sleeves and get to know the business at the lowest level of detail;
  • Experience performance managing, coaching, and improving the metrics of external-facing service teams.
