Sr. Revenue Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Revenue Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our revenue-analysis tool, RevPro;
- Assist in contract write-ups, perform contracts review and revenue shipping cut-off review periodically;
- Function as a key owner of internal controls relating to the revenue accounting area;
- Participate in ad hoc projects/tasks as requested by the Director of Revenue and/others in the Finance organization;
- Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards;
- Assist in various projects as needed;
- Support and participate on revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects;
- Assist with managing and resolving Billing and Revenue Operation cases;
- Assist with month end and quarter end close activities;
- Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions;
- Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors;
- Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis.
Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of GAAP;
- Excellent time management and organizational ability;
- Knowledge of revenue recognition in the healthcare industry;
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills;
- Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Must have software/SaaS experience;
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner;
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills;
- Experience of working with NetSuite or other major ERP systems is plus .
