Multimedia Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Multimedia Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce portrait shots and capture of technology development, testing, and demonstrations co-located with NSWCPD partners;
- Maintaining and upgrading technical skills and capabilities in regards to the application of new technologies and software;
- Photographic support of distinct events each year, which may require local travel;
- Ensuring that content is in accordance with appropriate style guides, including, but not limited to, Associated Press.
Requirements:
- AdobeFlex (special software);
- Extensive Knowledge and experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS coding;
- BA/BS in related field;
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Animate, photoshop mostly but also Cloud);
- At least three years of relevant multi-media experience. (Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field can be used for up to 2 years of experience);
- 2+ years in a related field;
- SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics);
- Two years of on-camera experience;
- Demonstrated experience operating digital video camera equipment and editing video software;
- Government/military experience preferred;
- A proactive team player that thrives in an entrepreneurial atmosphere;
- Experience researching, preparing, and disseminating information through various digital media;
- Demonstrated experience producing motion graphics for video using lighting design, sound design, story development, and conducting video interviews;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both as a member of a team and independently;
- Expert in sharing real-time content via social (Instagram stories, Facebook Lives, photo teasing).
