Contact Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Contact Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Pursue continuous improvement in assigned area of the department;
- In conjunction with the Shift Manager complete performance evaluations, attendance records and payroll process for assigned employees;
- Lead and supervise employees to ensure all housekeeping and safety policies and procedures are understood and followed;
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems, according to company policies and procedures;
- Accountable for control of all company products and resources to prevent loss and keep cost at a minimum;
- Enables team to become more self-sufficient through providing training and leadership, and in coaching team members to assume more responsibilities;
- Take immediate steps to correct any unsafe working conditions;
- Ensure team meets department goals such as: productivity and quality;
- This position typically is assigned a 12-hour shift and may be assigned nights and/or days and may rotate after periods of time.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Union Environment Experience;
- Ability to be supervise and coordinate effort of others;
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems;
- Basic understanding of chemicals and their properties;
- Physical stamina to work overtime and continuous/rotational shifts;
- An associate degree or higher from an accredited college or technical school;
- Problem solving skills;
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication);
- SAP, Microsoft Suite, Compliance Pro, and Lotus Notes experience a plus;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Great communication skills, both written and oral.
