Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete innovative technical assignments in a variety of electronic areas including PCB design and hardware debugging and testing;
- Positions located in Louisville, KY; housing and relocation assistance available;
- Work on some of the newest electronics innovations and equipment;
- Work with your assignment leader to accomplish established objectives and goals that support the business and also offer learning opportunity;
- Grow professionally through opportunities to network with the leaders of the company and lead committees of peers.
Requirements:
- Familiar with electronic equipment and tools like multimeters and soldering iron;
- Must be able to work full-time during term;
- Solid analytical skills;
- Must be able to function autonomously in a fast paced dynamic environment and be able to provide clear recommendations and feedback;
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and circuit diagrams;
- Ability to understand basic electrical schematics and symbols;
- Return to school upon completion of their term with Bayer to continue their program of study;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong project management skills are required;
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Interest in automotive electronics and advanced technology;
- Ability to have two or more co-op rotations prior to graduation;
- Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0);
- Currently pursuing Bachelors or better in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field;
- Passion for engineering.
