HR Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a HR Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Process W-4 changes;
- Maintain filing system;
- HR Process Implementation;
- Benefits administration;
- Establish and maintain department records and reports;
- Facilitate the onboarding of new hires;
- Work with sales and recruiting teams to effectively welcome and support employees and subcontractors across the US;
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other related meetings;
- Follow up with new hires regarding the prompt return of required paperwork;
- Respond to employee relations concerns and proactively provide employee care;
- Take initiative and search for new opportunities to improve our culture, policies, procedures, and hiring strategies;
- Leading open enrollment, answering benefits questions,
- Provide day-to-day communication and support in a rapid and complex changing work environment;
- Create a healthy and happy work environment;
- Answer high-level questions regarding employee benefits.
Requirements:
- Experience with ADP or other similar HRIS systems;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Capable of working independently without constant supervision;
- Ability to accomplish tasks and processes accurately and completely;
- Experience working in HR;
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Human Resource Generalist for a mid to large sized company;
- Strong process orientation (consistent execution, quality output and process improvement);
- Must display a high level of integrity and maintain confidentiality;
- Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.2 is required;
- Experience using HRIS / Payroll / Benefits Administration systems systems;
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures;
- User acceptance testing experience is required;
- Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees;
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated;
- College degree and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience are required.
