Our company is looking for a Senior Research Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and track progress of abstracts and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals;
  • Assist in identifying grant opportunities and assist with grant writing for submissions;
  • Monitor and track CPC+ progress for practices, send periodic global emails;
  • Assist in the preparation of academic outputs (abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc);
  • Receive, screen, log and route correspondence for CPC+
  • Lead project team meetings and ensure timely completion of deliverables;
  • Ability to interact in a positive and productive manner, and to work efficiently and skillfully with a variety of diverse staff;
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in the State of Oregon;
  • Basic understanding of the principles of aseptic technique;
  • Able to lift/move equipment weighing up to 30 lbs;
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation;
  • Working knowledge (6 months relevant work experience) of Microsoft Excel, Word, and graphics software;
  • Assist the team in publications for peer-reviewed journals;
  • Valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive DCM/ONPRC vehicles;
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant medical or surgical experience.

Requirements:

  • Update current programs and address errors that arise;
  • Attend meetings with staff;
  • Translate data from our databases into forms that can be uploaded to national databases;
  • Creating programs to organize and compile research data;
  • Assist with data collection and cleaning;
  • Perform literature reviews;
  • Contribute to team planning to accomplish project objectives;
  • Track deadlines and provide support to complete deliverables such as curriculum development, periodic reports, and weekly outreach documentation;
