After School Program Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a After School Program Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Completes paperwork as assigned;
- Exhibit ESF core values at all times and to adhere to all company policies;
- Provide group supervision of campers with attention to behavior management, group management, safety, security, and development;
- Attend After School Program bi-weekly staff meetings;
- Fulfill administrative roles including, but not limited to: answering phone calls, making copies, uploading documents and inputting data;
- Monitor and/or oversee Mentor staff at After School Program;

- Conduct rounds during After School Program;
- Executing correspondence to After School Program and Summer Camp families under the direction of the Program Director;
- Organize and develop program curriculum;
- Support Mentor staff in leading activities/lessons;
- Organize and implement daily lessons and activities in a fun and creative manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children;
- Work outside, upright and mobile for six (6) to eight (8) hours per day;
- Push/pull, lift and carry a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds across campus;
- Prior classroom teaching/field work experience or two (2) years of ESF experience;
- Teaching certification preferred;
- Minimum of three (3) years of college completed;
- Respond to emergency situations which may include running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and ascending stairs without undue exertion;
- First Aid/CPR and AED preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Previous leadership/management experience preferred;
- Possess physical capacity to fulfill all essential job functions responsibilities listed above.
