Production Line Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Production Line Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised;
- Forecasts crewing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly;
- Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations;
- Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company;
- Performs administrative tasks as necessary;
- Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew;
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management;
- Schedules equipment maintenance as required;
- Coordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues and requests.
Requirements:
- Must comply with all safety requirements;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Collect and document scrap for bulk and components;
- Ensure that all documentation requirements are completed, and adhere to GMP standards;
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
- Cell phone use by all production employees is strictly prohibited unless for company reasons;
- Ensure that all line personnel follow GMP’s;
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and is free of dust, debris and non-essential items;
- Ensure that all line personnel follow Safety Rules;
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent;
- Ensure that labor is properly tracked through the system;
