Our company is looking for a CNC Machinist 2nd Shift to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run machine;
  • Adapt to different projects;
  • Regular machine maintenance (monitoring oil, coolant, and lubricant levels);
  • Lift raw materials and parts;
  • Perform all CNC operations as necessary;
  • Work overtime as required;
  • Check parts per drawings utilizing measuring instrumentation;
  • Program, setup, and operate CNC machinery;
  • Operate Manual Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Saws, and Hones;
  • Set up, operate and adjust all 7 & 8 axis machines;
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications;
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs;
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs;
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.

Requirements:

  • Operator knowledge;
  • Both Mill and Lathe;
  • Ability to read blue prints or drawings;
  • Set up knowledge;
  • Must be able to able to use all precision measuring instruments;
  • Mastercam, not required but used;
  • prioritize;
  • Mazatrol, not required but used;
  • G-Code, not required but used;
  • Self-starter;
  • Communication;
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings;
