2nd shift CNC Machine Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Machine Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform adjustments to machine based on measurement data/work closely with CPI to achieve quality goals;
- Taking start up and finish parts to contour within the time frame requirement;
- Completing all required checks and document (machine, quality, etc.);
- Ensure continuous improvement and complete adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards;
- Ability to perform entry-level problem solving skills;
- Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing/drawings and program hardcopy;
- Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area;
- Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production;
- Ability to run one or more machine types.
Requirements:
- Background check;
- Experience in ISO 9001;
- Drug Screen;
- HS Diploma or GED;
- Work overtime as required;
- Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval;
- Competent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipment;
- Must be a US Citizen;
- Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension;
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision;
- Strong team player and flexible to move from one task to another;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Highly motivated;
- Knowledge and ability to utilize standard measuring equipment.
