CNC Operator – 2nd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a CNC Operator – 2nd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering drawings, materials, specifications and machining parameters;
- Setup and operate a variety of CNC equipment to produce high precision coupling components using engineering drawings and specifications;
- Consistently maintain a clean and organized work area;
- Performing and documenting in-process QA inspections;
- Perform follow-up operations, such as deburring, marking, and cleaning parts as required;
- Meeting production schedules and standard timeframes established for setup and cycle times.
Requirements:
- Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment;
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations;
- Climb ladders of varying heights;
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions;
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds;
- High School Diploma;
- Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time;
- 2 years CNC operator and set up experience preferred.
