Our company is looking for a Machine Operator – 1st Shift to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety procedures and attend all scheduled safety training;
  • Performs other work duties, as assigned;
  • Follows quality and safety standards;
  • You ll check the quality of the part, trim the part and stack;
  • You ll load sheets of plastic into your machine and monitor the cycle;
  • Responsible for the set up and breakdown of the machine and materials;
  • Keeps area clean and organized;
  • Maintain clean work area and machines;
  • Ensures the product meets all quality control standards;
  • You will shadow a person for a few days to learn the process.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing;
  • Standing, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs., kneeling;
  • Ability to correct understanding of routine aspects of work;
  • Have the ability to work overtime as needed to cover production needs;
  • Stand/walk continuously & perform repetitive hand work, including gripping, for an 8 hour shift;
  • Supports new ideas and helps to implement them;
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Repetitive motions Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers;
  • ERP/MRP (preferred);
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • Reports any problems, deviation, or quality concerns to a lead/supervisor;
  • 0-2 years related machining experience, education and/or training;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Safely perform all duties and encourage safe practices of others;
  • Knowledgeable about existing policies, practices and procedures.
