Machine Operator – 2nd and 3rd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Machine Operator – 2nd and 3rd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operates machinery to support the assembly floor and the finished product while achieving production goals, quotas and objectives;
- Ability to assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications;
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space;
- Measure, cut and assemble components using hand and power tools such as screw drivers, saws, drills, etc;
- Visual inspection and fill out log sheets before shipping;
- Load/unload components to machines and assemble parts.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs;
- Ability to take instruction both verbally and in writing;
- Prior Injection molding experience;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 2 years machine operating experience preferably in high speed assembly and injection molding machines.
