Machine Operator – 3rd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Machine Operator – 3rd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Trained to operate a thermoforming or trimming machine;
- Trim parts and inspect to meet quality standards;
- Monitor the machine cycle and trouble shoot any minor issues;
- Keep work area clean and organized;
- Follow all safety regulations;
- Load machine and push button to start cycle.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Person;
- Mechanically inclined;
- Ability to work overtime;
- Must be able to work required schedule for the job;
- Mechanical skills preferred;
- Able to listen and carry out all verbal instructions;
- Must be able to pass written and practical MHE operator certification and obtain license;
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on own, up to 150 lbs.as part of 2 person team;
- Excellent benefits package available;
- Must be able to occasionally sit and climb ladders;
- Must be able to continually lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs;
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening;
- ERP/MRP (preferred);
- Able to meet daily goals in this fast paced shop;
- Microsoft Office Suite.
