Our company is looking for a Mailroom Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, and processing documents in a fast paced, production environment;
  • Follow detailed instructions to organize, and process high volume, error free data on a consistent basis;
  • Enters and verifies alphanumeric data from a variety of sources, including paper-based, and electronic, into a computer database;
  • Print and send additional payroll reports requested by clients;
  • Delivering mail to correct location-internally;
  • Print, send, and track year-end W-2s as directed;
  • Process, print, package, ship and track daily payrolls according to packout instructions for each client;
  • Email or upload client file uploads (i.e. 401K, Worker’s Compensation);
  • Filing duties for client invoices, shipping records and historical information;
  • Light duties in data entry and customer service;
  • High volume of scanning and printing;
  • Maintain printers, load equipment with paper, tape, staples, toner, etc;
  • Operating postage mailing machine as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Maintain payroll holiday schedule, including sending out holiday notices a month in advance.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs;
  • Ability to stand and move for majority of a shift;
  • Must have experience as a mailroom clerk;
  • Able to process information quickly and have the ability to be flexible;
  • Great customer service skills;
  • 3+ years of experience;
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of various postage machines and familiarity working with Xerox/Cannon copiers is a plus;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Ability to utilize a variety of computer-based systems simultaneously;
  • Good job stability;
  • Mail finishing, sorting, delivering, and tracking;
  • High school diploma or GED required.
