Our company is looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner;
- Motor and winding experience a plus;
- Read and interpret blueprints;
- Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements;
- Must be able to work with laythes and diamaters;
- Inspect parts;
- Properly and safely select, align, secure and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines;
- Setup and operate a manual mill or boring bar;

Requirements:
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Drug free at all times;
- Minimum 5 years Job Shop experience with manual machines;
- Able to work on own with minimal supervision;
- Must have micrometers and know how to operate a osylascope;
- Read blueprints;

- Own tools needed;
- Dependable and reliable;
- Prefer a person with 3+ years experience working in a job shop environment;
- Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines;

- Use measuring tools to inspect parts; micrometer and calipers;
- Willing to train a lesser skilled machinist if willing to learn the trade;
