Molding Machine Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Molding Machine Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability and experience in the following areas;
- Using logical process of elimination to troubleshoot and deduce problems that limit machine efficiency and output;
- Tracking and stocking critical parts;
- Creatively solving problems throughout polyurethane part processing and adjusting machine components as necessary;
- Working with material flow and flow controls;
- Handling 500 lb drums with drum trucks and using forklifts as needed;
- Collaborating with other team members and preparing technical documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Requirements:
- Basic skill level desired in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience;
- Proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a manufacturing environment;
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus;
- 3-5 years manufacturing environment experience desired;
- complete required quality documentation;
- identify mold and casting defects;
- tagging procedures and deburring;
- get trained to perform statistical Process control checks;
- welding experience;
- Basic blueprint reading;
- good language and math skills.
