QA Test Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- educating project teams in the areas of testing strategies;
- implementing load/stress tests;
- implementing production monitors;
- evaluating, implementing, and maintaining test frameworks to be used by software developers and other QA staff;
- providing guidance to project teams in test design and the use of testing tools;
- implementing automated tests;
- providing mechanisms to capture maturity indicators such as code coverage.
Requirements:
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Perl, JavaScript;
- A bachelor of science degree in a computing field OR 3+ years of experience developing or testing software;
- Understanding of modern biological sciences;
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, web servers, networking);
- Experience with testing or development in a cloud environment;
- Formal training in computer science or software development;
- Experience using information management tools such as Solr, MSSQL, MongoDB, NoSQL, and Cassandra.
