Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer III to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and advise Quality Assurance testers;
- Support user acceptance testing by creating, executing and reporting of test strategies/plans, test cases, and automated test scripts;
- Debug, troubleshoot and document application and system issues and solutions;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Prepare monthly and quarterly trending, including Statistical Process Control documentation, and support the Quality Management Review Process;
- Adhere to SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external);
- Represent Quality in MRB by coordinating activities, maintaining MRB records, and dispositioning parts;
- Specify production and QA inspection points for designed products; Assist production team with development of product documentation;
- Develop, review and approve validations and completion reports for new and existing products, processes and equipment;
- Participate in the execution of Process FMEA and other applicable risk analysis documentation as deemed appropriate;
- Assign quality codes on purchase requisitions to suppliers to meet customer and internal requirements;
- Audit internal procedures and processes in accordance with company/contract requirements;
- Interface with Customer and Program Management to complete customer reviews, inspections, tests, and audits; coordinate follow-up actions;
- Coordinate with various departments to disposition supplier rejections and discrepant material;
- Verify product design incorporates customer requirements and establishes inspection controls.
Requirements:
- Application of product and process nonconformance and root cause analysis (problem solving skills);
- Certifications – IPC J-STD-001 Electronic soldering, NASA 8739.1 Conformal Coat, 8739.4 Crimping;
- Use of basic inspection tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc…) and visual inspection using microscopes;
- Demonstrates excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills;
- Demonstrates knowledge of statistical sampling and analysis;
- Able to prioritize projects to meet organizational goals and objectives;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences;
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Working experience on CMM equipment;
- Basic motor and electronic component knowledge;
- Related Quality experience with a good working knowledge of Quality System requirements, contract quality requirements and inspection;
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent;
- Certifications: ASQ CQE preferred;
- AS9100 and/or ISO9001 knowledge, ability to coordinate and perform audits to standards;
