Our company is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing or directing Source Inspection, process and system audits;
  • Extensive data review on procured materials;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement;
  • Interacts with customers, suppliers, designers and others to assist in resolving design, development, production and acceptance issues;
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations regarding product discrepancies;
  • Provide analysis of data in support of quality and process improvements;
  • Provide Program/Customer Quality Engineering Support;
  • Development and control of Inspection and Test Plans, Source checklists, Statements of Work, and a variety of purchase order attachments;
  • Drive changes to processes and Design Engineering regarding issues impacting product integrity;
  • 25 to 50% travel may be required;
  • May direct the quality review, planning, auditing and work activity for a broad base of procurement functions;
  • Evaluates opportunities for defect prevention and implements specific and preventative corrective actions;
  • Cultivates a wide range of internal networks and develops an extensive network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • BS degree with minimum 5 years related experience;
  • Experience in working with mechanical or electrical component suppliers;
  • MS degree with minimum 4 years related experience;
  • BS degree in engineering or technical field with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in process validation, design controls, risk management, and CAPA;
  • Strong command of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio;
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering;
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering;
  • Project management: ability to influence cross functional global teams spanning quality, operations, R&D, and sourcing;
  • ASQ certification (CQE, SSGB, SSBB) strongly desired;
  • Experience in medical device, automotive, aeronautical, semiconductor, or other regulated industry;
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits;
  • Experience with Packaging, Sterilization Validation, Calibration and Analytical Labs;
  • Manufacturing Process Controls expertise.
