Supplier Quality Lead Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Supplier Quality Lead Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross-functionally and globally);
- Experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably both;
- Interface with Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements that minimize the Costs of Quality;
- Ensure Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at assigned suppliers in compliance with the CAPA process;
- Quality auditing experience;
- All other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications/Requirements;
- Experience implementing a compliant supply chain;
- Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills;
- Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business;
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization;
- Bachelor Degree or Associates Degree with minimum 10 years of manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet development and analysis. Desired Characteristics;
- Approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes;
- Ensure a compliant and qualified supply base by conducting supplier evaluations;
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments.
Requirements:
