Responsibilities:

  • Participate with the design, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of privacy policies, procedures, and controls;
  • Support the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to client engagements;
  • Identify technological opportunities and evaluate the Information Security and privacy impacts on the client’s business;
  • Prevents/deters theft and fraud through physical presence and customer engagement;
  • Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head;
  • Support the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks utilizing specialized applications, tools and platforms;
  • Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely;
  • Provide on-call 24X7 support, as needed;
  • Stay abreast of the latest information security controls, practices, techniques and capabilities in the marketplace, as well as evolving threats;
  • Responds, resolves and documents EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) alarms;
  • Perform functional tests of new security tools, provide test results and feedback to internal teams and vendors;
  • Directs emergency response personnel to area of incident;
  • Alerts Store Detectives to suspicious persons and/or situations and may act as a witness during apprehension situations;
  • Fluctuate between remaining stationary and moving, for up to 10-12 hours a day;
  • Perform cross-functional activities such as data collection, analysis, development of custom reports and slide decks, as well as process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and report writing;
  • Ability to learn and understand fire and security systems, including EAS Systems;
  • Knowledge of Symantec Control Compliance Suite is preferred;
  • Understanding of third party risk management considerations, incident response, and crisis management processes;
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of product locations and possesses the ability to precisely direct customers based upon that knowledge;
  • Knowledge of incident response and crisis management processes, and third party risk management considerations;
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance;
  • Credentialed in cyber and privacy (e.g., CIPP, DMR CIPM, CIPT, CISSP) preferred;
  • Minimum of one year of experience in IT Security – Data Loss Prevention;
  • Committed to reliable and consistent attendance;
  • Basic understanding of behavioral safety strategies;
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), ESX/VSphere platform administration, and Windows Server operating systems;
  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Ability to interact with all customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
