Our company is looking for a Unarmed Security Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building;
  • Enforcement of Client and Company policies and procedures;
  • Access control for guests, tenants and vendors;
  • Observation and reporting of fire and safety hazards;
  • Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate;
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED);
  • Clear criminal record. Must clear background check;
  • State Guard license is required;
  • TWIC required;
  • Pass a regulated drug test (where required);
  • Minimum 2 year prior experience in security,. loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Punctual;
  • Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include Unarmed DCJS License, First Aid, and CPR;
  • Dependable;
  • Employment is for temporary events and services only;
  • Must meet client suitability;
  • TWIC required;
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks, drug test, interviews;
  • Ability to pass drug test;
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property as well as clean and organized front desk;
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products and be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs;
  • Positive attitude and clean cut appearance;
  • Demonstrate a stable work history;
  • Must be 18 years of age;
  • Minimum 2 year prior experience in security,. loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems;
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
