Our company is looking for a Accounts Payable Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Reconcile Corporate Credit Card Balances Daily and Statements Monthly;
  • Verify Inventory Receipts and Resolve Discrepancies;
  • Other ad-hoc projects;
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the business and subject matter expert on the procure to pay cycle and travel and expense;
  • Partner with FP&A team to aid in the preparation of working capital projections;
  • Provide audit support throughout the year, as required;
  • Assist management in streamlining AP related workflow and processes and automating systems;
  • Provide timely assistance and explanation to inquiries and questions regarding accounts payable raised by other departments;
  • Manage quarterly and annual audit preparation related to AP functions with both external and internal auditors;
  • Review and ensure complete and accurate preparation of monthly vendor statement reconciliation by AP team staff at month end;
  • Experience working in a law firm preferred;
  • Design, develop, and implement new processes;
  • Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating Accounts Payable staff members;
  • Overseeing routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Business Platforms;
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 1-plus year experience in Accounts Payable or Related Field;
  • Have keen judgment, make sound independent decisions, and know when to escalate matters;
  • A proven track record of 3+ years leading and developing high performing teams;
  • You have a Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Strong systems and computer skills with the ability to organize, plan and coordinate staff within a corporate structure;
  • Must work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed;
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
