Events Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Events Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Write, and coordinate RFPs with vendors (i.e. venues, décor, A&V, staging, floral, video);
- Develop a comprehensive project timeline for all aspects of the event;
- Manage prospect charts;
- Maintain meeting notes;
- Manage revenue charts;
- Work with EventsAir modules;
- Create meeting agendas;
- Manage seating using seating software;
- Work with designers, printers and mail houses on printed materials;
- Create name badges, tent card, other signage needs.
Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Reliable transportation to all events; employee is expected to report on time at office and at all events/ client meetings;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization;
- Conduct all business with the utmost honesty, integrity and sensitivity;
- Positive team player, enthusiastic, self-motivated and high energy;
- Other Webster Group tasks as assigned;
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
- BS in a related field;
- Active passport at all times since occasional travel is required;
- Some travel required;
- Results-orientated with a high level of integrity and dependability.
