Manufacturing Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare products and materials for shipment;
- Additional production or manufacturing tasks as assigned;
- Assembly technician: processing wafers, PCBA boards, modules, and test finish product;
- Retrieve and unpack components and stock the line;
- Keeps own training on track and trains other technicians and associates on operations;
- Maintain a clean and well stocked workstation;
- Reset faults, as appropriate;
- Placing fiberglass spools onto racks;
- Cleaning and setup of equipment;
- Setup and operate all equipment in related area to produce product to specification requirements;
- Perform visual inspections and identify potential quality concerns;
- Preparing materials for production;
- Inspecting and processing car parts;
- Sheet Metal Fabrication;
- Detailed and accurate documentation in batch production records.
Requirements:
- Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; as required;
- Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time;
- Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs;
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable;
- Consistant attendance, ability to get to work on time, every day;
- Good with math, able to read a tape measure and micrometer;
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs;
- Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Previous manufacturing experience;
- Must have reliable transportation;
- Stand for long periods of time, as required;
- Ability to read a tape measure;
- Actively pursues learning of required skills, new skills, and new equipment;
- Proficient in MS Office and related PC skills.
