Our company is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare manuscripts, and present research findings as abstracts or oral presentations (travel may be required);
  • Attend research related meetings including but not limited to Thursday PM SPORE seminars, Cancer Biology meetings, journal clubs;
  • Stay on top of the literature and build skills to maximize the projects’ potential;
  • Work closely with the external researchers on the project and with undergraduate and graduate students at ASU ;
  • Maintain data for the project organized and submit data to online repositories when appropriate and in a timely manner;
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and integration;
  • Lead presentation of the work at scientific conferences and write manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals;
  • Think independently and problem solve. Stay on top of the literature and build skills to maximize the projects’ potential;
  • Duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with nonhuman primates;
  • Three years of experience using major statistical packages such as SAS, Mplus, or R as evidenced in application materials;
  • A cover letter detailing the candidates experience relevant to the position and career goals,
  • Working knowledge of computer software for data storage and analyses, graphics and presentations;
  • Background in neuroscience or related;
  • Demonstrated interest in self-determination assessment and research;
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team effort in a collegial, productive manner;
  • Ph.D in biological, engineering, or other related science field;

  • Excellent manual and intellectual skills to accurately perform research techniques;
  • Must have good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team;
  • One year of experience with supporting the development of IES and NIH grants;
