Private Equity Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Deal evaluation;
- Company outreach;
- Company identification: assembling target company lists and evaluating companies to determine fitness as an acquisition target;
- Market research and industry ideation/evaluation.
Requirements:
- Work with investment professionals and other advisors to further develop and execute liquidity/exit plans for portfolio companies;
- Assist in structuring and negotiating with debt providers;
- Partner with the investment team to identify attractive industry trends and investment strategies;
- Provide quantitative and analytical support to monitor private equity investments;
- Leads comprehensive diligence, including but not limited to financial, market, legal and operational evaluation;
- Manage and oversee the entirety of the transaction process as deal quarterback through diligence, terms and completion, supporting the deal sponsor;
- Cultivate strong relationships with management of acquisition targets;
- Provide both strategic and tactical counsel to portfolio company leadership teams leveraging operations, strategy, and financial expertise;
- Ability to supervise junior staff.
